Blue Nose Technology was formed in 2014 with the express intent to identify areas in the Energy and Mining industries that were problematic. The company has been committed to addressing and solving issues that have hampered these industries in a way that made financial sense.
We have developed and improved upon our Loss Control material which is now fully scalable to address nearly every loss control issue drilling rigs will come across.
We have successfully developed a method of sealing cracks and leaks in piping that is inexpensive, easily deployed that also works extremely well as a preventative measure that can be included in annual pipe maintenance programs.
We have developed a drillable temporary plug system as well as a permanent plug system to be used for well bore abandonments.
Our flash set cement starts setting up almost immediately after hitting a loss zone due to the pre-treatment of our proprietary resin.
We are constantly conducting research and development to enhance and improve our patented products with the focus on energy, mining, construction and demolition. As we identify other areas of concern in the field we work to come up with solutions and solving these issues. Some of these include new areas of development are in fracking. A new product is being developed which, over the course of 24 to 72 hours, gently opens the formation without the use of heavy equipment. This new system we are developing will be very low key and inexpensive, allowing our operators to focus on the benefits of fracking without many of the negatives that come with violently forcing open a formation.
Another development is our demolition additive. Once deployed into concrete or rock the additive is left for 12-24 hours after which time it will have broken out the target area without use of machinery or explosives. Additionally, this product works in any environment, can be submerged, is environmentally friendly, easy to clean up, has low overhead and is inexpensive.
